Knob State Forrest Man Hike and Graduation

So here is the hike that the "boys" went on yesterday. Three generations! The hike was 2 miles long total. We had about two hours to hike in and hike out. We had a great time and took our time. Conversation was good and about things of the Lord, family, and nature.

Here are some Google earth panned images of the section we hiked.

The hill you see in the center of this picture was the "kicker." Tom and I were both breathing hard after this one. Probably because we both just finished slamming down a huge greasy Wendy's lunch...

Here is the elevation profile for the hike we did. All of this data was made possible by the GPS (Trimble Outdoors) capabilities of my phone. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT TRIMBLE OUTDOORS

Josiah was getting a little hydration in before the long hike...he wanted to be prepared for anything...those leg cramps can be bad when your being carried ya know?

Getting it all setup.

Josiah loves his carrier.

Here is papa bear.

And what do you know...zonked out after 2 miles of hiking

Got to see some interesting wildlife too! It must have been butterfly season bc they were everywhere in the parking lot.

Graduation:

So Friday was Kathy's graduation! She is officially done. We were all proud of her and we all had a great time being off and seeing the babies and family.

And so after the graduation ceremony and lunch at Cheesecake Factory Josiah was a little tired...so much so he let us take this nice little video...LOL
